CeltACD reaches 1000

Dr Kardos, Consultant Cardiologist at Milton Keynes Hospital, performed the 1000th CeltACD femoral artery closure implant in a patient.

Dr Kardos commented

"CELT ACD vascular puncture site closure device is an easy deployable small occluder that can be safely deployed in patients undergoing invasive cardiac catheterisation. The implantation related discomfort seems to be favourable compared to other widely used vascular seal device. We are looking forward to the results of our prospective audit comparing patients perception and acute and longterm complication with an other seal device and hand compression."
