Visitors from countries throughout the Middle East and further afield attended the show and Kimal's stand was busy over the four days, receiving hundreds of enquiries for the NxStage System One™. This home haemodialysis machine, which is only 17 inches high and 17 inches wide, is being introduced into the Middle East on a targeted basis by UK-based Kimal. The company is initially focussing on two key areas in the region, namely Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. Kimal is keen to ensure that these areas are fully covered and benefit from excellent practical and clinical support before extending further in the region, possibly in early 2011.

Kimal CEO Alan Press said "It is notable that we have received such recognition in this, our 30th year of trading in the Middle Eastern region.
