Diagnostic Catheters

For many years, we have had a strong desire to make a major impact into the diagnostic catheter market. We realised this dream in the early part of the 21st century with our introduction of the AngioflOw range

Angioflowangioflow-catheters

AngioflOw catheters are a key element of our product
portfolio which further our aim to offer you a complete solution
for diagnostic angiography.

Creating performance through experience; our state of the art manufacturing capabilities and vast experience in catheter
design deliver several key advantages.

Designed to give premier performance in cardiac angiography our AngioflOw catheters are designed to offer optimal handling and flow
characteristics.

Key attributes of the catheters include:

Large Inner Diameter (I.D.)
Our catheter design offers optimised inner lumen diameters without compromising wall strength or durability

Soft atraumatic tip
The distal tip of the catheters are of a soft material and left unbraided. This minimises the potential for catheter induced complications

An Optimum balance of flexibility and stiffness
The combination of catheter materials used allows AngioflOw catheters to be flexible yet still offer enough rigidity to track around tortuous
or complex anatomy without kinking

Colour coded strain relief
This offers simple gauge identification as follows:

4 French - Red
5 French - Grey
6 French - Green

Excellent torque characteristics for greater control
AngioflOw catheters use the latest nylon blends and 16-wire braiding
to produce excellent torque transmission from hub to tip, minimising
‘whip’ and providing a finer response

Optimum flow rates
The larger than average I.D permits greater contrast flow rates.
AngioflOw catheters offer a 10% increase in flow across a variety of pressures
