Acute Care & Surgical

Introduction

Although the company had many successful years in the Critical Care market place, following the decision in 2005/2006 to move away from this arena. Kimal no longer had a dedicated business unit looking after this important clinical area.

This changed in late 2008 with the formation of the Acute Care & Surgical Products Business Unit. Although initially responsible for the further development of our SurgiGUARD OR drapes and gowns portfolio, the brief quickly moved on to developing sales in the commodity items arena.

The expansion of this unit is ongoing with new areas of business being continually investigated, where the company can make a difference in the provision of quality 'acute care' medical devices to the global healthcare marketplace.

OR Drapes, OR Consumables & Commodity Items

We are delighted that our market leading SurgiGUARD OR range of drapes are so widely used across the world. Particular note should be made of our successful sales in the UK the Middle East and Eastern Europe.

We are also extremely confident of how our business is going to develop in the overall OR commodity items market place, however, although our plans are in place for expansion of this division, there are some key pieces of the jigsaw to fit in.

Until this happens we believe it best to 'hold our thunder' and not release any further promotional material until later this year.

Visitors to our site will become some of the first to know of our exciting developments, so please keep refreshing these pages for more news.
